Where can I find a good video store in my area that rents adult movies? I've searched the Yahoo! Yellow pages, and searched "adult book stores" + the name of my area in Yahoo! and other major search engines to no avail. Is there an online listing somewhere? I'm not nessecarily looking for an adult video store... maybe just a regular video store that also rents adult titles. | | You can't possibly be serious. Your using the internet for christs sake. watch internet porn. | Why can't I turn off safe search? Just so you all know, I do know how to work the safe search preference. But, the problem is it just doesn't work. When I told people about my problems they suggested that I should deal with the cookies, but it still doesn't make any changes. I always also given other advice, both those don't work either. I have tried everything people have suggested, but I still cannot get it to turn off, or even on moderate. This problem is only happening with Google and Yahoo, no other search engines that I know of are having these problems. But the others aren't all that great. I use Dog Pile, which is supposedly a combination of Yahoo, Google, Ask, and Bing, but the results are only 4 pages long. Ask always switches safe search back on after just turning to the next page. There is also Bing and it does work better than both Dog Pile and Ask, but the results are all X's (They got that little red X at the corner of the result). Now as previously stated: I do know how to work the safe search filter, I do know how to set on moderate, strict, or off. The problem is I just can't.
I want to make it perfectly clear that I am not talking about watching adult content such as pornography. I'll admit, it is one of the reasons why I want safe search off, but I usually like it off because no matter what you look up you get better results. I've tried while looking up Military Action Figures, and it has a whole lot better results when the safe search is off.
If you suggest that my parents may have something to do with it, they don't. Just yesterday I asked my mom if she knew anything about it and she said she didn't. No one in my family has altered the safe search.
I have tried using other search engines, but the majority of what I found are too much like Dog Pile. if you have any suggestions, please offer some. But, just do not mention Alta Vista, because the image searching on there is blocked here. Or Mamma, because there isn't any image search and there is no option I can find to turn off the safe search. There is video search, but the results are not good.
Just so you people get a good idea of what to suggest, I will tell you the list of search engines I have already tried out that I had no luck with:
Lycos
Ask
Dog Pile
Bing
Web Crawler
Meta Crawler
Hot Bot
These are the ones I have found and had no luck with. I have found one called All The Web, but it seems promising. For one, there are over 4 pages of results, and it feels really different from Dog Pile. But, if you can still make some suggestions, please offer some. | You didn't indicate what security products you have installed but some security venders (such as Norton) include a safe search feature that would supercede your search engine and browser settings. You may want to see if your security suite includes such a feature.
Also, I can't seem to determine which web browser you are using by your message above. Its security settings may be interfering as well.
You'll probably need to be in the administrator account to change any of the above settings. | They want to block Yahoo.com at work, they say its just a waste of the companys time, are they right? We have a program that blocks certain pages here at work. Pages that might have viruses, trojan, adult material, video games, chatting. They are talking about blocking Yahoo. Some argued that we need a search engine for work, and they said we can always use Google, but Yahoo is going to be blocked. Yahoo has a lot of non-work related things on it's main page while Google is just the search engine. I do need yahoo, my personal e-mail is on Yahoo.
Are they right Yahoo is a waste of company time? | | You know they are right...you're asking a question on here and it makes your work no money! | Pornography - What's the big deal...right? What is your take on pornograpy? More of a survey type question than anything.
Here some interesting facts:
Did you know that just about every serial killer, rapist and molester's roots can be traced to pornography. Look up Ted Bundy's story.
It evolves into 4 steps: Addiction, Escalation, Desensitization and finally Acting out Sexually.
Like a drug addiction, it usually starts out small with just a peek, but it never ends there.

It is often blamed for destroying marriages and ruining intimacy, not helping it.
Pornography Time Statistics
Every second - $3,075.64 is being spent on pornography
Every second - 28,258 Internet users are viewing pornography
Every second - 372 Internet users are typing adult search terms into search engines
Every 39 minutes: a new pornographic video is being created in the United States
* according to toptenreviews.com | Unfortunately, we as a society have yet to come up with an acceptable definition of "pornography". Where do you draw the line and why do you get to choose where it is drawn?
Don't get me wrong, I agree that it can be an addictive influence on many people, some of which will go on to do horrible things. But the same can be said about alchahol and perscription drugs, both of which are also legal.
Using the argument that porn was the one factor that drove some famous criminals to do what they did because it is a common thread does not hold water. Using the same logic, you can argue that each and every person that has ever committed a crime drank milk as a guy. It proves nothing and may lead some to draw a conclusion that drinking milk eventually leads to crime.
Millions, as alluded to by your statistics, view what some consider as pornography and never go on to hurt anybody. | What is the best and fastest growing mlm online? BankofAdult.com Introduces Innovative MLM Concept: Anyone can Profit from Adult Entertainment on the Web

good to know | Yahoo warning, a confusion? I have received a notification from Yahoo that I have violated the accounts terms hence next time my account can be deleted. But reason for it has not been given.
What comes to my mind is that perhaps, repeat perhaps, it could be that I posted some videos clips regarding breastfeeding (guyren) or milking boobs small clips but mostly taken from the Yahoo search engines and added on my Favourtine. If it is the reason then my mind is confused. Reason being I marked these videos as "private". Secondly Yahoo itself is full of more adult items in its search and yahoo system for example Yahoo Groups have more dirty adult groups. So I wonder why my simply posting some video clips taking directly from Yahoo search itself or from Yahoo listings themselves can become a cause of cancellation of account.
Can anyone guide please. | You may posted adult content in a Y!A forum that forbids it.
It's like television. Some content can be shown after ten p.m., but not before. | Could you please answer this question? 10 points? This will seem like a strange question, but I really need to get it answered so please don't judge and just answer it.
In your opinion, is the person at the end of this video implying that they aren't an adult? This person is 23 believe it or not, so if they are implying they aren't I'm slightly offended.
Anyway here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6XLswqiX0s
The video itself is actually quite amazing; please watch the whole thing to know what I'm talking about.
(If this video doesn't come as a direct link, please just copy and paste it into the web search engine or control c and v it.) | | "Who is that boy" isn't suggesting that the person isn't an adult. Technically, an adult male human is a man, but when age is not a crucial factor, both terms can be interchangeable, e.g., 'boys and their toys' applies equally to adults and young boys, just as 'Are you mice or men?' can also apply to young boys. The age boundary is not clear cut but can be dependent on the context or even on individual circumstances. | English help please (=? 1. Diction refers to the
